I
am writing this reference letter in support of Ragunath Umanath who is applying
to the Master’s program in Systems, Control and Robotics at your esteemed
University. I have known Ragunath in my capacity as his Professor for nearly two
years now during which, I taught him the courses “Applied Electromagnetics” and
“Transmission Lines and Waveguides” in the third and fourth semesters
respectively. He had scored the highest attainable grade of “O” in both
those courses, which came as no surprise, for his fervour to learn is
astonishing. Throughout his course of
study, Ragunath has shown great interest towards the real-world applications of
his academic work. We engaged in several course and research related
discussions in which he confidently talked about his aspirations towards higher
education. He is currently working with me on a project focussed on the
effective reuse of Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) waste by way of mixing with
cement.Besides the academic record, Ragunath’s involvement in social
work shows that he has a passion for contributing to the greater good. I worked
with him on a workshop for members of a tribal community where we taught them
ways of self-sustenance through small-scale production. I am also aware that he
is a volunteer at an NGO that provides education to underprivileged children. I
have found him to be a person who is always ready to take up responsibility and
carry out his duties with immense dedication. I have the deepest personal and professional respect for him,
and sincerely believe Ragunath will bring his unique energy, optimism, passion,
and tireless creativity to your class and University as a whole. Thus, he has
my highest endorsement for admission into his desired course at your
University. If you have any questions about this recommendation, please do not
hesitate to contact me for I will gladly try to help.
