but it can never be replaced by anyone. The literacy of a person is imperative
in anyone can acquire. We prevail in the Institute for us to gain more learning
and shape our ability and skills. A student is subjected to finish his/her
studies, especially with flying colours. There are plenty of reasons why a

Theoretical
Framework

2.1
Career choice influence factors

Making
career choice is a persistent process that you have to explore and understand
the world of endeavour. (Georgia, 2013) There are a lot of affecting factors in
choosing preferred careers. The first factors are Environmental Factors,
according to Onayase and Onayase (2009) they suggested an investigation into environmental
factors such as family background, school environment, religious institutions
and peer group barkada’s and their
influence on students’ choice of career. The second factors are Personal Type
based
on Carl Jung’s theory. He theorized that there were four pairs of opposite
preferences. They indicate how an individual; Energizes (Extroversion v.
Introversion), Perceives information (Sensing v. Intuition), Makes decisions
(Thinking v. Feeling) and Lives his life (Judging v. Perceiving). Splaver
(1977) said “personality” plays an important role in the choosing of the right
career. Opportunity is the third factor that has shaped career choices for
students. Opportunity may influence how students have perceived their future in
terms of the reasonable probability of a future in particular career fields.
(Thout, 1969) According to Jones, these are some aspects that you
need to consider yourself of what kind of career opportunities you are looking
for. These are the opportunities you need to design either to enter or change
an occupation or field that gives you a better future. Careers
are determined by an interaction between our personality and they search for
environments that will let them use their skills and abilities, and express
their attitudes and values, while taking on enjoyable problems and roles. Holland’s
theory is centred on the notion that most people fit into one of six
personality type which are Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social,
Enterprising and Conventional. The fourth factors are Childhood Fantasies of
what do you want to be when you grow-up it helped to shape on how you thought
about careers then, as well as later in life. Ginzberg proposed a theory that
describes three life stages related to career development. The first stage,
fantasy, where early ideas about careers are formed, takes place up to age 14. The
last factors are Social and Economic Conditions. Since our country is suffering
from miscellaneous crisis the government implemented a K- 12 Educational
system. Secondary School is two yearn for specialized upper secondary education
(Official Gaze, 2012) SHS is a preparation for a college level to explore and
plan for their postsecondary career options whereas there are some factors that
can affect and change the views of your perception in setting goals.

The
first factor career choice is influences by the family and
parenting for encouragement and support in career development of a student.
Parents handle as a major influence on their children’s career improvement and
career decision- making. (Keller, 2004)

You
want to choose an occupation that fits your unique qualities — your abilities,
talents, needs, values, and interests — and the lifestyle you want to live.
(Career Key Discover, 1987) The authority of institutions implements a K-12
program educational system. Senior High School is a preparation for a college
level to explore and plan for their postsecondary career options whereas there
are some factors that can affect and change the views of your perception in
setting goals. The specific strand will suit your capability and intellect that
improve your development learning. Otherwise, career choice influences the
family and parenting for parental control and career development. Parents handle
as a major influence on their children’s career improvement and career
decision- making. (Keller, 2004)

2.2
Career choice factors

There
are a lot of affecting factors in choosing preferred careers. According to
Olamide & Olawaiye (2013), it follows that how the student discerns their
environment, personality and opportunity will also determine the career choices
students make. The first factor in career choice, the environment, may
influence the career students to choose. The youth are largely influenced by
this environmental issues, so if not guided may be propelled to make wrong
choices. (Tope, 2010) Moreover, a family is a place in which children learn to
interpret realities (Wary & Passman, 1996) may influence student views on
whether or not to continue their education. How students have seen themselves
in a role in which personality is a determining factor may influence a chosen
career. Splaver (1977) said “personality” plays a decisive role in the choosing
of the right career. If you trying to decide what career to pursue, then you
should find out what your personality type is. (Mckay, 2017) Opportunity is the
third factor that has shaped career choices for students. Opportunity may
influence how students have perceived their future in terms of the reasonable
probability of a future in particular career fields. (Thout, 1969)
